The quality of preschool education should consider the following issues: cross-cutting educational outcomes, changing requirements and map of the results of giftedness and abilities. The key point – is the revision of representations of the results of preschool education. Unfortunately, kindergarten is focused on natural preparing children for school. They are taught to read, write, count, remember. At the same time real psychological development of children through preschool age at this moment is completely ignored by the practice. So this is why we can not speak about the results of preschool education in the key of school readiness as a result of child development, the formation of psychological qualities.

Maria Montessori claimed that “writing is easier for a child than reading, because we write our own thoughts using our hand, but read others’ thoughts, written by hand of another person”. In the frame of teaching child literacy parents of preschool children completed special questionnaires. From the results of this survey, we realized that in general parents are not against literacy education on the computer, but they are worried that children will spend hours sitting in front of a computer without any control. Following experience of A.Trageton studies we decided to introduce computer to children during meetings in subgroups together with psychologist. Preliminary results with examples of work are discussed in the article.

The grounds for tolerance towards the disabled must be formed at the very early stages of personality development – in preschool childhood, when a child is being acquainted to the outside world and learns primary social skills.

Kindergarten plays the major role in acquiring tolerance because it is the teaching process that creates situations of cultural, interpersonal, formal and informal communication. The problem in the view is of urgent importance in small towns, where integrated education is absent. That is why the solution could be enactment of communication with the disabled that involves live-through experience and comprehension of cultural value of non-violence, empathy and mutual respect. The article describes the original program “The World is one for everyone” that was designed around the aforementioned principles, including plans and examples of classes.

The authors expected that the development of general abilities, going through the mastery of project activities, influenced the development of other components of a child’s personality, in particular, self-esteem of preschool children. Children’s project activity can be regarded as a specially organized form of activity aimed at the development of general abilities of children. The survey was conducted in the senior and preparatory for school groups. As the main method of self-esteem assessment Dembo-Rubinstein technique was used. As a result of measuring the self-esteem in the senior and preparatory for school it was stated that children experienced positive impact of project activities, not only on develop of general abilities, but also on development of self-esteem.

The need for development of physical and psychological security of preschooler is of great importance. Today’s world is characterized by ever-increasing potential of various hazards (natural, technological, social, interpersonal). That is why development of secure type of behavior to achieve own safety and safety of other people lays in the basis of the described educational program for preschool children. Authors define several tasks that children should accomplish among which are: 1. Mastery of the basic preschoolers healthy lifestyle. 2. Informing preschoolers about potential dangers in kindergarten, at home, on the street, about the consequences they bring and about ways of overcoming them 3. Skill development of preschool children to recognize (predict) potential danger in order to prevent its occurrence. 4. Development of the ability to correctly respond in a situation of danger etc.

The author through observation and analysis discerned general differences in cognition and productive activity of boys and girls:

    1. Girls prevail in verbal skills, boys – in spatial and mathematical.

    2. Cognition is more flexible at girls, and at boys are quicker at it.

    3. Girls prefer bright colours and drawings of objects, whereas boys prefer darker colours and tend to draw stories.

    4. Girls inquiry in the sake of conversation, boys inquiry to obtain information.

Backed with these results, the author suggests arrangement of teaching process with the gender factor in mind. Consequently, drawing at art classes is not just about development of drawing skills of 2–3 year-old children, but also about formation of their gender identity. The classes are conducted in a play manner and aim at getting children familiar with culture. Such classes help to develop respect for the opposite gender, to understand that boys and girls are different. Classes, where boys and girls perform different tasks for the common purpose, help to overcome disconnection for the sake of more productive activity.

It is assumed that violence must be consistently excluded from human existence and replaced by a sufficiently vaguely understood tolerance. Nevertheless, violence can not be understood only as a deviation from normal functioning, but as absolutely necessary manifestation of vitality and condition of socialization.

Even a simple child’s education of food handling does not occur smoothly, and the phenomenon of punishment in the broad sense of the term, fundamentally is not removable from the culture. It makes questionable the idea of the perfect harmony in dyads “adult – the child” or “subject – society”. After all, eating with your hands is a lot easier than with a fork. Assimilation of social and cultural norms is not much different from learning law of gravitation through falling practice. Effort and tension are of fundamental importance for generation of higher forms of mentality. It is through the inhibition, delay, denial and stress some of the functions and phenomena of the psyche can be objectified.

Main task of psychologist is formation of psychological culture in educational process. Psychological culture is based on two projections: the theoretical one and a projection of psychological activity. Psychological activity has two major areas: activities directed on me and toward another person. Thus psychological culture embraces the existence of identity in two worlds: the inner world of the self and the world of interpersonal space. With respect to psychological structure of the culture, it includes own mental processes, personality, indirect knowledge of the everyday experience, as well as ways of self-analysis, self-knowledge, self-education and self-regulation.

So in description of work of psychologist we turn from the characteristics of theoretical layer of psychological culture to the layer of the activity. Psychological activity is activity that is directed on the subject himself. Psychological activity is a special work aimed at establishing meaningful correspondence between mind and being.

In this article I want to share my views about the dangers and benefits of computer training for preschool children, as well as to discuss the most effective forms of computers in preschool. The first thing is to choose those programs that motivate your child to learn, especially if the activity can not be realized by non-computer means. There are many programs useless for training. There is not point in using games that simply repeat in computer form exercises with cards or copy books. We will not discuss violent games which harm is obvious. But what about tutorials for children (for example, graphics editor)? You can choose the color and draw lines, geometric shapes and color objects. Harm here is in drawing with the mouse: complex movements with the mouse are harmful for the child’s small hands. Moreover, this experience will never be useful in life: all digital artists use electronic pen.

Just like in most countries in the modern world, teachers, researchers, curriculum developers, and policy makers in The Netherlands are aware of the great importance of good education for young children. The government permanently monitors the evaluations of the outcomes of early childhood education and stimulates innovations that should raise effectiveness of teaching, especially in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics. The Vygotskian point of view, which is contributed to the discussions and that has been the foundation for the development and implementation of Developmental Education in the early years (ages 3–8) is described. The examples are given how learning based on the ideas of Lev Vygotsky is contextualized in Developmental Education classrooms.
