Modern children live in the era of information technology, which affects their development and behavior. New technologies have penetrated into all spheres of life, including communication, learning and games. These changes have led to the formation of a new type of culture, which is called information or network culture.
Existing scientific research on childhood is quickly becoming obsolete in light of the rapid development of technology and changes in society. Therefore, there is a need for new research that would take into account the peculiarities of modern childhood and help to better understand the needs and interests of today's children.
The participants of the event discussed modern approaches and strategies for childhood research, considered current technologies for working with children of early and preschool age from the standpoint of an evidence-based approach and interdisciplinary research.
