Abstract
The paper experimentally investigates types of parent-child relationships in families of children with learning difficulties in primary school. Personality characteristics and cognitive functions of children are described in a detailed way. The influence of violations of child-parent relationship on the worsening of deviations in the formation of higher mental functions and as a consequence, difficulties at school, is shown. Inadequate family relationships also cause partial disharmony in the emotional sphere of the child.
