The event, which will take place on December 18–19, 2025, will be a special one: it will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, one of the oldest in the country.
This year, the forum will bring together professionals around three key concepts: Commonwealth, Cooperation, and Co-creation. According to the organizers, these concepts form the foundation of spiritual and moral education and successful teaching. Participants will delve deeply into the phenomenology of friendship—from childhood bonds to professional partnerships.
"Does the value of friendship change with age? How do adults, through their example, influence the formation of relationships in children? Are there mechanisms underlying true co-creation?"—these and other questions will be central to the forum's discussions.
The program traditionally brings together adults and children as equal participants in the events. The following activities have been prepared for teachers, students, and researchers:
-
Plenary session: "Collaboration, Co-creation, Commonwealth." "Eternal Values Formed in Childhood";
-
Open session of the Federal University of Higher Education in Pedagogical Sciences;
-
"Christmas Crossroads of Childhood" – a space for artifacts of collaborative creativity, friendship, and scientific mentoring;
-
Roundtable discussions featuring new ideas and practices;
-
Panel discussion "Professional Community: Reality or Dream?";
-
A separate section for young scientists – "First Trials of Scientific Creativity."
And for younger guests (ages 0 to 18), there will be a festive Christmas tree, a quest called "Friendship Code: New Year's Investigation," a presentation of school projects, and even a friendly competition between students of secondary vocational education. Children don't just observe – they participate, learn, create, and make friends.
The forum will be held in person at the Institute of Childhood of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, with key sessions broadcast online. The best papers will be published in the peer-reviewed journal "Comprehensive Studies of Childhood."
Applications and abstracts will be accepted until December 15, 2025, on the official website: https://detstvo.hspu.org/
