    Aim of the Journal

    One of the main goals of the Journal is to discuss the issues a modern preschooler faces when entering life. Russian and foreign experts are involved in an attempt to create a complete picture of possible solutions to various problems of childhood. The Journal aims not only to establish a dialogue between professionals in the field of preschool education, but also to engage parents who face the diversity of psychological manifestations at preschool age. It is parents who accumulate the unique information that conveys the peculiarities of the child's development in modern conditions.

    Journal Mission

    The Journal acts as a platform for dialogue between childhood researchers and educators. Much attention is paid to current topics of interdisciplinary childhood research: bilingualism, digitalization, modern educational technologies, specifics of work with children with disabilities and migrant children, as well as other popular topics, reflected in special thematic issues.

    Particular emphasis is placed on the practical work with children. The Journal covers the most original activities and games, books and toys that can help to make the life of a child and an adult richer and more exciting.

    The Journal provides an opportunity to report the results of beginning researchers, for whom publication is an important stage in entering professional community. In the Journal Preschool Education Today, reviewing is considered one of the key tools of professional communication, so special attention is paid to the selection of reviewers as well as to the provision of effective feedback to the authors.

    In addition to empirical and theoretical articles, the Journal publishes interviews with experts in the field of preschool psychology and pedagogics, as well as information about leading scientific congresses, conferences, and symposia on the subject of preschool childhood in order to inform readers about the current areas of research and practice.

    The Founder and Publisher of the journal "Preschool Education Today" is the Publishing House "MOZAIKA-SYNTEZ" (Moscow, Russia).

    The specialized Pedagogical Publishing House "MOSAIKA-SINTEZ" is one of the leading publishing houses in the field of preschool upbringing and education.

    The registered office of the Publishing House is: 7-1, Mnevniki street, Moscow, Russia 123308.

    The mission of the Publishing House is to convey the necessity of engaging the child in educational activities from the very early age to parents. The Publishing House seeks to provide a wide and accessible assortment of literature necessary for harmonious development of the child. Another goal is to provide preschool teachers with modern materials for lessons with children.

    The Publishing House always has a wide range of educational, methodical, visual, didactic aids, and workbooks for educational institutions and home learning.

    The Publishing House works in close contact with leading experts in the field of theory, practice, and organization of education. Many editions are published with the "Recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation" stamp and have positive reviews of recognized experts in the field of education.

    Publication Schedule and Archiving

    The Journal is published 6 times a year.

    The full texts of all issues since 2007 are stored on the website of the journal in .pdf format. PDF of the issues can be downloaded by registered users.

    There is no fee charged from the journal's authors. There are no accelerated terms for publishing articles. All rights remain with the authors.

    Most of the articles and issues of the journal are fully available in the Scientific Electronic Library (elibrary.ru).

    Printed issues of the journal are stored in the Russian State Library and other libraries.
